These fingerless mitts are a great introduction to knitting cables, knitting in the round, and “afterthought” thumb construction. Suitable for advanced beginners who can cast on, knit and purl, and cast off.
Bring 1 x 50g ball of 8 ply or 10 ply yarn (90m min length), 4 x 4mm double-pointed needles, a safety pin or lockable stitch marker, a cable needle, approx 30cm smooth waste yarn of a contrasting colour and a tapestry needle.
