Wellington Sewing Centre takes in all brands of machines for service or repair by technicians based offsite.
If a machine has been bought from us and is under warranty, we will need to send it to Auckland for service or repair.
Most other machines can be serviced and repaired by technicians based in Lower Hutt.
Bring your machine to the shop and we will advise where it needs to go, the likely cost of the work needed and the turnaround time. .
The cost of a machine service done locally is about $120. If a machine has to be sent to Auckland or elsewhere, there will be a freight and handling charge to pay.
In all cases, we require a $50 deposit (which comes off the final cost) to be paid when leaving your machine with us.
