Machine repairsPlease note that our machine repair man is having a holiday for most of August. He already has enough machines to go on with till he leaves town so PLEASE don’t bring in your machines for service/repair until late August as we don’t have room to store them. Thankyou! |

Knitted Bears |
Ryman Healthcare, which owns the Rita Angus Retirement Village over the road from us, has set a goal of donating 200 knitted teddy bears to Ukrainian children - and they need help! They’ve given me a pattern that I can share if you would like to knit a teddy or 2 and they would be happy to receive donations of wool – which you can leave at the shop. They would like to make some in Ukrainian colours – blue and yellow – but that’s not compulsory. Video guides and more information can be found here. |

Sale wool!Our big 100 gram, 202metre, balls of Ashford DK(8ply) 100% NZ wool are now reduced from $11.50 to just $10. We have 210 balls in 27 colours. Lovely wool at a bargain price! Once this is all gone we will be getting in a new Ashford DK line. |
