The Sulis Hat is named for an ancient Celtic goddess of the sun, who was thought to reside by the thermal spring in Bath. This is Pattern Fantastique's offering for those who wish to embody a goddess lounging by the water, or in the backyard with a paddling pool.
The Sulis has serious sun protection in mind but a shape only worthy of the divine. With an offset brim which is deeper at the front and shorter at the back and a crafted form-fitting crown for a strong silhouette, the Sulis is reminiscent of 70’s era YSL fashion.
There are optional ties for when a blustery air god swings by and crown trim for a little added finish. The Sulis remains soft and pliable so that it can be stashed in a beach bag or pressed into crisp perfection for special occasions.
