Got the hang of crochet but want to try something a bit different? Originating in Japan, these cute soft toys have become popular throughout the world.
In this three session class you will make a little bear and learn the yarn-under technique that keeps your stitches close and the stuffing in, without the need for pulling your tension extra tight. Bring 2 - 3 balls of 8ply yarn (1 - 2 of a main body colour and 1 in a secondary colour), a 2.75mm or 3mm crochet hook, stitch markers, scissors, and a darning needle. We will provide the stuffing, eyes, and embroidery thread.
