Machine Service and Repairs

Temporarily on Hold

Our technician David is taking a break for a few weeks so we won’t take in any machines in that time as we don’t have room to store them. For any machines already here, it may be 6 weeks before they can be worked on. Sorry about this but David definitely deserves a break.

We recommend that, meantime, you take any Bernette and Bernina machines to Busy Bees/Nancy’s. And for any urgent problems with other brand machines, Sewing Machine Services in Petone in open for business. If it’s a minor matter (perhaps, dare I say it, caused by user error!) we will always try to help but if we can’t sort it, please be prepared to take away your machine until David’s back on duty.

We’ll publicise when things are back to normal. Thank you for your patience meantime.

Papercut Patterns

No Longer paper

This is sad news as the owner is downsizing the business to cope with her cancer treatment. She will continue to make paper patterns only for a month or so, till her paper runs out. I intend to do a final order and would like a steer as to which ones customers like most. We have stocked Papercut patterns for a few years now and used some in our classes (Nova jacket (ex-Sapporo) has been a classic) but they haven’t moved very quickly lately, perhaps because we have so many StyleArc patterns and other lines too to choose from these days?

Below is a list of the Papercut patterns. If you would please take the time to tick the boxes beside the patterns you might purchase in future - or just email me your choices - that will help me put together a final order, which I’d like to do next Monday. Thanks very much.

That’s all for now

Hope you are all safe in the wild weather,
